Be Part of the Walk!!

The Medford Education Foundation invites you to become a part of “The Walk”, the brick walkway connecting Medford Memorial Middle School with the Haines School Sixth Grade Center.  You may personalize a brick for a family member, a friend, an organization or yourself, and inscribe names, a special date, or even a special quotation!  Your contribution will help in our mission to enrich educational experiences for students by supporting the highest quality school programs and initiatives.

Since 2004, the Medford Education Foundation has raised over $550,000.00 for the benefit of our public schools and students.  These funds have been used for things such as mobile laptop laboratories, technology upgrades and the purchase of independent reading books. Last year, the Foundation purchased 120 laptops and 7 Wi-Fi enabled laptop carts – one for each of the schools in the District – to provide more opportunities for our students to access technology in the classroom.

Funds raised by the Medford Education Foundation are also used for the Foundation’s Education Grant Program which supports teachers and encourages creativity in the classroom by providing resources for extraordinary educational experiences such as hands-on classroom projects, field trips, art, music and drama programs, enhanced STEM education, guest speakers, assemblies and access to technology.

Be part of The Walk!  Act now to reserve one brick for $100.00 or two (2) for $150.00.  Use the Brick Walkway Order Form 2014 to order your brick today.  Here is a list of the available Brick Walkway Symbols.
